Back when I was still working, I had a friend who never used the word "vacation" when she went away, she always went on "holiday". Well, DH and I have been on "holiday", a great "holiday". We spent a week in the Santa Fe area in New Mexico. We hadn't been in that part of the country
before, we loved it! Very different than the southern part of the US where we live. Here's one of the first pictures we took, downtown Santa Fe, we stayed right around the corner from this museum. It is so fun to see where others live, eat new foods, try new adventures, but it was SOOOOOOOOOO good to be home too!

It is so nice to go on "holiday" but I do agree it's nice to get home too.

Hi, Carol, you're back! Haven't been by in ages to see you & I know you took a break for awhile I think. Nice to see you back.
On those pieces at Plunderosa, they didn't have prices on all those large pieces & I didn't ask (should have), but I get the feeling they are pretty reasonably priced. Some of the smaller things had good prices on them, like the glass bottles. It's definitely worth stopping in to take a peek, there were SO many beautiful cabinets in there.
